First :
After taking the opinion of the Higher Council for Institutes Affairs at
the end of each academic year, the Minister of Higher Education shall
determine the number of students from the “LE” or others who are
admitted to the Institute in the light of its needs in the following

Second: The student must be
enrolled in the Institute as follows:

of these regulations in accordance with the rules determined by the
Minister of Education.

diseases and his authority to continue the study in accordance with the
rules set by the Higher Council for Institutional Affairs.

Third: The Pyramids Higher
Institute of Engineering and Technology Include five Departments as

These departments accepts
students with one of the following qualifications :
High school diploma, the scientific section of Mathematical and the
equivalent of Arab and foreign certificates.
Al Azhar Secondary School Certificate.
Secondary Industrial Certificate System 3-5 years.
Industrial Technical Institutes.
Fourth: The Minister of
Higher Education shall be granted a bachelor's degree in the
following specializations:
Electronics and Communications Engineering Department:
Electrical Power and Control Engineering Department:
Mechatronics Engineering Department:
Civil Engineering Department:
Architectural Engineering Department
Fifth :
The duration of study at the Institute is five years. A student who
successfully passes a bachelor's degree in one of the disciplines
mentioned in Article (4). The bachelor's degree is approved by Prof. Dr.
Minister of Higher Education
Sixthly: :
Students shall be nominated through the Coordination Office for
admission unless otherwise decided by the Minister of Higher Education.
Non-Egyptian students are admitted by the Department of Foreigners.
Seventh :
Each student shall be given a special identity card affixed to his
picture and signed by the Director of the Institute and stamped with the
seal of the Institute.
No student is allowed to attend classes, lectures and practical
exercises and to take exams unless he holds his card.
Eighth :
Every student enrolled in the Institute shall prove his / her presence
in the manner prescribed by the Institute.
Ninth :
A student may not register his name in more than one institute at a time
and may not combine enrollment in an institute not affiliated with the
Ministry or any university college.
The student may not be re-enrolled in any institute to obtain a
certificate previously obtained.
The Institute's bylaws
provide as follows :
Article (36):
The nomination of students to the Institute shall be through the Office
of Admission Coordination unless otherwise decided by the Minister of
Higher Education.
Non-Egyptian students are nominated by the Department of Foreigners.
Article (37):
Entry is allowed for those who have obtained a high school diploma in
mathematics or its equivalent, who have been nominated to the institute
through the coordination office, or from other colleges or institutes
referred to in accordance with the conditions set by the Supreme Council
of Universities. .
Article (38):
Each student shall be given a special university card affixed to the
institute with his photo signed by the dean of the institute. No student
is allowed to attend classes, lectures and scientific exercises and do
not take exams unless he holds his university card.
Article (39)
:
Transferred students may be exempted from attending some courses if it
is proved that they have studied the same courses and performed
successfully in a similar college or scientific institute recognized by
the Ministry of Higher Education, whether these materials are in the
first study teams or the most years of transfer except the final two.
The scientific committee formed under the chairmanship of the dean of
the institute and approved by the board of directors of the institute is
the work of scientific clearing of these decisions and approved by the
competent authorities in the Ministry of Higher Education.

Article (40): The transfer
and transfer of students between the institutes and colleges in
accordance with the following rules:
- Students enrolled in the credit hour system may be transferred to the
two-semester system as long as they do not pass 60% of the total credit
hours required for graduation. The courses passed by the student in the
credit-hour system are set off and the equivalent courses are specified
in the program to be transferred.
- The transfer of students enrolled in the first division between the
corresponding institutes may not be considered unless the student has
obtained the minimum total number of admission to the institute to be
transferred to. Other instructions from the Ministry of Higher
Education.
- Separated students may not be admitted.
- A student may not be transferred from the credit hours system to the
two-semester system if he does not meet the admission requirements for
the two-semester system when he joins the college.
- In all cases, the approval and approval of the competent head of the
Central Administration shall be required.
Article (41): The student
may be registered and re-enrolled in the following
cases:
- A new student who has not completed the registration process for an
acceptable excuse
- The student who withdrew his papers while enrolled in the institute
and gave an excuse.
- A student who has not applied to the Coordination Office in the year
of obtaining the general secondary school for an acceptable excuse.
- Enrollment or re-enrollment shall be by a decision of the head of the
Central Administration concerned with the approval of the Board of
Directors of the Institute.
